Ape Conservation Effort 
Ape Conservation Effort is a Georgia not-for-profit comprised of volunteer members who share a passion for animals and a commitment to saving the great apes. Members of ACE hope to raise awareness of the plight of the great apes and support for their conservation.

 

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo 
Established in 1882, the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo confronts conservation challenges around the world through direct action. Over the past ten years, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and the Cleveland Zoological Society have supported more than 600 conservation projects in nearly 100 countries around the world.

 

Dallas Zoo and the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park 
Founded in 1888, The Dallas Zoo is home to more than 2,000 animals including a two-acre gorilla exhibit.  Long-term conservation and management of species in captivity, as well as in the wild, is one of the primary missions of the Dallas Zoo.

Disney 
Environmental stewardship and nature conservation are a rich part of Disney's history and part of their focus on the future. Through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund, they are working to protect and restore the magic of the natural world for generations to come. Disney has been a supporter since 1997.

Oklahoma City Zoo 
The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is dedicated to the preservation of the Earth's natural resources through conservation, education, awareness and scientific research. The Zoo hosts a yearly Gorilla Golf tournament to raise money in support of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International's conservation program.

Partners in Conservation at The Columbus Zoo Partners In Conservation (PIC) was initiated in 1991 by staff and docents at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. This was started as a grass-roots project that would help conservation and humanitarian programs in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

 

The Phoenix Zoo 
Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the Phoenix Zoo is the largest privately owned, non-profit zoo in the United States. Since opening in 1962, the Zoo has focused on animal conservation efforts. The Phoenix Zoo participates in both local and global conservation with the intent to motivate people to care for the natural world.

Zoo Atlanta
Located in Atlanta, Ga., Zoo Atlanta houses the headquarters of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International. Providing pro-bono space and resources to the Fund since 1995, the Zoo proudly supports their important work for gorillas in Africa. 2011 marked the 50th anniversary of the gorilla program at Zoo Atlanta. In recognition of its long-term commitment to gorillas and their conservation, Zoo Atlanta was the 2011 recipient of the distinguished Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) Edward H. Bean Award.
