Terrance D. Harps
Terrance D. Harps is chairman and CEO of Global Concessions Inc. (GCI), a food and beverage concessions company. GCI owns and operates several stores, principally in the Hartsfield/Jackson Atlanta International Airport, including Great Wraps, Nathan's Famous, Ben and Jerry’s, Sojourner’s Café, One Flew South and Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint.
Harps has been the chairman and president of GGI since its formation. He previously helped form Martin, Harps, Syphoe and Co., CPAs, and, as a senior partner in the firm, managed its consulting practice for clients including the 1996 Olympic Games, Peachtree Plaza Hotel, Zoo Atlanta, the United Way and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Earlier he was a staff auditor and audit manager for the accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick.
Harps earned a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from the State University of New York and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Indiana. Although he is a licensed certified public accountant, he no longer practices. He lives in Ellenwood, Georgia.
