Richard A. Horder, Secretary
Rick Horder is an environmental law attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. He was an assistant United States attorney for the Northern District of Georgia and then associate general counsel for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation before entering private practice as head of the environmental practice at Kilpatrick Stockton LLP.
He is author of numerous papers on environmental law, endangered species, toxic tort litigation and litigation management, and is a frequent seminar lecturer on these subjects. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Florida Bar, and the American Bar Association and has served as chair or vice-chair of various state and American Bar Association committees and subcommittees.
He is a former chair of the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He holds a Bachelor’s and J.D. degree from the University of Florida, a L.L.M. in international law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master’s in Business Administration in international business from Georgia State University.
