Deogratias Tuyisingize
Deogratias Tuyisingize is the Karisoke™ Research Center’s Biodiversity Research and Monitoring Program director.
Formerly he worked as a research assistant in biodiversity at Karisoke, and initiated its golden monkey program and butterfly research. He has co-authored reports on the ecology of the golden monkey and on Karisoke’s large mammal survey and common bird monitoring project.
He earned a Masters of Science degree in conservation biology from the University of Capetown, South Africa, and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in zoology from the National University of Rwanda.
