Mark your calendars to attend the Rwandan Fête, an annual fund raising event hosted by Partners in Conservation (PIC) and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The event is a magical evening where guests enjoy music, dinner, a live auction, an open air African Market. . . and much, much more! Guest speaker will be Dominique Bikaba, from Strong Roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The proceeds from this event fund conservation and humanitarian projects in Central Africa. Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship!
Partners In Conservation (PIC) was founded in 1991 by staff and docents at the Columbus Zoo. PIC is a program under the umbrella of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, which funds PIC’s yearly operating costs. Therefore, all monies raised by PIC directly fund projects in Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) that benefit both wildlife and people.
Proceeds from the Fête will benefit the Fossey Fund, as well as other wildlife conservation & community development projects in Rwanda and the DRC.
