Helping people. Saving gorillas.™
Karisoke™ Research Center is the world's centerpiece for the study and protection of the critically endangered mountain gorillas. Established in 1967 by Dr. Dian Fossey, we have operated it since her death. Today, Karisoke is the greatest hope for the future of the mountain gorilla, and the center has become a significant resource for the people who live near the gorillas.
Ensure that our patrols are in the forest EVERY DAY to protect gorillas.
100% of the Fossey Fund's budget is devoted to gorilla conservation programs that help people and save gorillas. FY12 Audited Expenses
