The Legacy Society

Our Legacy Society is a group of Fossey Fund leaders – worldwide! They come from all walks of life with the desire to have a lasting impact on our conservation efforts and ensure the protection and safety of the world’s remaining wild gorillas, through their estate plans. Some may have a special connection to the majesty of the gorillas we protect. Others may be drawn to the community work we invest in to help the people who live near them and the forests. Or it might be our commitment to growing the next generation of conservationists through our science, research and education capacity building. We were brought together by our understanding of the urgent need to invest in saving not only the gorillas but the planet on which we live. Through the long-term generosity of planned giving, so much can be accomplished now and in years to come.
