Margaret L. Adams, MS

Margaret is an accomplished leader in nonprofit development and leads the Fossey Fund’s development and communications team, with responsibility for all programs supporting the organization’s fundraising initiatives. She has 25 years of development experience and most recently served as chief development officer for the national nonprofit Eckerd Connects, headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. She previously served as a director of development at Emory University in Atlanta. She holds a bachelor’s degree in medical anthropology and history from Emory University, as well as a Master of Science degree in health care administration from Mercer University.

Margaret is a long-time, proud Atlantan, with five children and one grandchild living in surrounding areas of the city. She has a passion for conservation and the care of people and animals. She is excited to work with the Fossey Fund and looks forward to leading new philanthropic efforts for the organization.
