Paul Kazaba

Research Scientist

Paul Kazaba, is a biodiversity and conservation scientist with a Ph.D. in environmental management from the University of Ibadan, master’s degrees in wildlife management and forestry, as well as a bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences. He previously worked at the University of Lumbashi as a lecturer and researcher as well as an environmental consultant. At the Fossey Fund he is responsible for helping to design, lead and execute research projects on Grauer’s gorillas and other elements of their ecosystem, preparing scientific publications, and  participating in building scientific capacity for staff and visiting students, among other science-related activities.
