“Georgia Gives” day a great time to donate
Atlanta, Ga., has been home to the international headquarters of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund for more than 19 years, thanks to Zoo Atlanta’s in-kind donation of space and resources. Thursday, Nov. 13, has been designated as “Georgia Gives Day,” a day where people across the state raise as much money for participating nonprofits as possible within a 24-hour period. Although Thursday is the big day, “GA Gives” is a year-round donation platform, so you can give at any time!
To donate, just visit: gagivesday.org/c/GGD/a/gorillafund
You can make a donation via credit card or e-check. Once you’ve made your donation, make sure to share it with your friends via Facebook, Twitter or any other social template you want! All donations to the participating nonprofits are tax-deductible.
Your donations will help us protect gorillas and conserve their habitat. Our daily presence in the forest is crucial to achieving our goal, so you can see how your donations will impact our daily monitoring patrols:
$10- Tent floor liner
$25- One week of food rations for a patrol
$50- Backpack for a patrol
$100- Rain jacket for a patrol
Thank you for helping us save gorillas!
